The service is great! Met Bill for the first time and he was ever -pleasant and personable. John and Melissa are super friendly, always providing service with a smile. John has helped me numerous of times with my van, even repairing a loose part they had installed with no extra charges. I have the sense that they are straightforward with their work and their fee structure. I have been a customer for years prior to them taking over Diablo Auto Specialists from the late owner, Tim Stussi, who passed prematurely, and they are upholding his honest, transparent, and hard working reputation. I’ve waited a few years to write this review because I wanted to evaluate their honesty and integrity with several interactions over time, building trust. I am touched that they still honor Tim’s legacy by providing the 10 % coupon to their customers via the website. Diablo Auto was great! Melissa took great care of me and provided a long list of problems they found with the car but prioritized exactly what was needed to make sure I was setup for success on my long trip out to burning man. I even had another auto shop confirm their repair and prices and they said Diablo Auto was fair pricing and a great approach. Will be visiting them again

I'm a first timer with Jon and Melissa but I believe I have found my go-to car doctors with them! Melissa was very friendly on the phone and Jon at the front desk was friendly, thorough and efficient. I dropped the car off late afternoon and it was ready with new brakes early the next morning. They did a routine oil change, tire rotation and reset the tire pressure light. Good service as usual.

My elder mom needed an oil change. She took the van to a different shop got the oil change done and was told she needed a rack and pinion and would be an around 1200. I told her, don’t do it. Let’s get a 2nd opinion because I didn’t think it’s bad. We Had Diablo Auto inspect the van. Very professional, After the inspection you get an estimate on everything they find wrong from something as little as license plate light to something major in the suspension. With a picture showing you and confirming the issues. With us, they found nothing wrong with the rack and pinion, they found cv axle boot worn/cut and seal leaking recommend replacing both for half the cost of the other shop rack and pinion job. They found other minor issues that we’ll take care of them later. Honesty from this shop, we are definitely using this shop moving forward. Didn’t use the finance option but looks like a great option just because everything in automotive is so expensive now.
