Tim was really great! I was referred to him by Paul from Frank & Paul's in Walnut Creek. My car suddenly decided to not start and I needed help. Tim at Diablo Auto Specialists was able to take my car the same day and have it ready by the next day. Turned out batteries are only good for 4 to 5 years. He also took the time to make sure my tires were at the right pressure and advised me on how much padding was left on my brakes. There is a belief that when you take your car in, you are going to get hit with much more than you anticipated. Not the case at Diablo Auto Specialists. Communication, honesty and integrity.

We've been using DAS for all three of our vehicles for over 5 years, and it's a great experience every time-- To be able to feel peace of mind knowing you're in good hands, with honest people who always have your best interest at heart. Highly recommend!

I was very happy with the service I received at Diablo Auto Specialists. When I called ahead of time to make my appointment, I told Tim that I was concerned about several issues on my car, including my timing belt. He told me that it was important to know what services had already been done to my car in the past (since I'm a fairly new owner), so that his team didn't replace a timing belt that had already been recently replaced. Sure enough, when I dug out the Carmax report, I saw my timing belt had been replaced about 12,000 miles previously, with the previous owner. Tim saved me a pretty significant expense by having me check this. They had my car for a day and did a great job doing the overall maintenance I had asked for. My car is running great, and I didn't pay an arm and a leg to get it all done. I'll definitely be coming back to Tim and his crew in the future.

I cannot state how impressed I with my first visit with the Diablo Auto Specialists. Tim was very welcoming and friendly, his shop was clear and tidy, and took the time to walk me through all aspects of the service his team performed. It is very difficult to find trustworthy and reliable auto mechanics today. Tim's shop was a recommendation from my previous mechanic before they retired - and he did not disappoint! They are a real customer service "gem" in the heart of Walnut Creek.
