This was my first visit to Diablo Auto Specialists. I needed my car towed to somewhere close by in WC - rather than to my long-time regular mechanic 20 miles away. Call me a loyalist. Well, my car (Subaru) is like my baby and I won't let just anyone work on it, so I scoured the Yelp reviews, got a good feeling about this shop, and gave them a call. Tim, the shop owner, talked to me and put my mind at ease. Right away I got that he definitely listens to his customers. It was mid-afternoon when I called but even with such short notice, he got to work on a diagnosis almost as soon as I got the car over there (towed because the engine light was flashing upon start-up). The repair was done the next day - thankfully nothing major. Tim was completely straight-up about what was needed (and nothing more) and worked for a fair price. He and his wife, who works at the front desk, were very kind and courteous. I would not hesitate to bring my car to them again in the future.
