Recently had two vehicles repaired at Diablo Auto Specialists - great service on both. Recently bought a used salvage car (2014 Toyota Camry) and brought in for a service plus thorough check the car. They performed a brake job and resolved some other maintenance issues - runs great and should be reliable for a while. Also brought in our 1998 Ford Expedition - have been taking it here for 10 years and now has almost 260,000 miles. This vehicle also received a brake job, power steering adjustment and other service. Tim and his team do a great job letting you know what you can hold-off on and also what you can let go without sacrificing safety. As this is an old vehicle almost at end of life Tim is reluctant to perform expensive repairs that do not extend the overall life of the vehicle. This demonstrates honesty and integrity.

Diablo Auto Specialists is the only place we will take our vehicles now. Tim is a pleasure to work with, is very fair with his prices, and runs his business very professionally.

A very professional, friendly shop with experienced mechanics that doesn’t overcharge (in fact I feel bad paying as little as they charged me, so I’ll be offering more when I pick up my car). Tim is the owner and is extremely helpful, transparent, and knowledgeable. He explains every part of what they’re doing and calls you before changing anything. He doesn’t try to add extra services or rush you to make a decision. I highly recommend this shop for all your regular maintenance and any other servicing.

Tim is incredible and super customer-focused. I scheduled an appointment and Tim offered the flexibility to adjust my time of arrival, and even taught me a few things about my car that I had yet to learn. Tim was very thorough in replying to my calls and questions about the car and the findings.
