Gayle's Hyundai has been well cared for here and she can be very persuasive in convincing others to bring their cars here too. In fact, the first morning I came here, Gayle's boss had just dropped his car off minutes before. I had previously had an oil change at Roesbery Car Care and had a list of repair items from their associated mechanic's review. I was ready to pull the trigger on these fixes, but Gayle convinced me that we should be using the same mechanic hers. Do you think I'm wrapped around her little finger? I was in good hands with Tim and his crew. They performed a separate appraisal and pretty much confirmed Roesbery's findings and in the same price ballpark. I made a separate appointment and was even offered a complimentary rental car for my all-day trouble. There was no need as Diablo Auto Specialists was close to Gayle's work and I took her car for the day. The car was completed on time, on budget, and within scope. Actually they did find a couple worn belts, but since their initial inspection missed it, I got that service for free. I own a 1999 Subaru Legacy, now with over 165,000 miles on it. I hope to reach 200,000 miles and beyond and I'm convinced that Diablo Auto Specialists will get me there without spending lots of money on life support. In other words, when I buy that new Car probably another Subaru, it will truly be time.

I found DAS after reading an article about them and Tim 2 yrs. ago and since then, DAS has serviced my car. They are friendly, efficient, honest and on time. I like that they communicate before they do any work, with a clear explanation using words that I can understand. I have not had any visit be one of those where they come up with things that have to be done, like my previous experience with dealerships.

Tim was very polite on the phone. I felt comfortable talking with him. The gentleman at the reception desk was very thorough in explaining what would be done and why. The explanations I received made complete sense to me. They called me back when they said they would. Nothing was added in to the original estimate, and the prices seemed reasonable.

Besides being welcoming and knowledgeable, Diablo Auto Specialists keep excellent records. You can just start talking, and Tim and Paul are right there with you. It's a good feeling to be able to trust your mechanic. There's no question, they're the best.

They walked me through all the repairs being made to make sure I understood what was going on. And afterwards, they showed me the old parts so I could see the damage that had been done. I felt comfortable working with them even though I have no knowledge of cars. They were forthright and honest.

I was referred to Diablo Auto by a friend a number of years ago when I bought my new Camry and have stayed with them ever since. Tim is meticulously honest and caring. It is like having a best friend be in charge of your car's health. He doesn't oversell but he takes great price in doing the best job possible. His mechanics are well trained - and well paid - so don't come to Diablo Auto for a cheap, fast job. Won't happen. What is done is done right with the right parts. I will stay with Diablo as long as they are in business and I have a car.

Tim and his guys did a great job. He called and left a message during the day with status of the work. Car runs well and the work was done on time.

Tim has taken excellent care of two previous cars for me, and now I trust both Tim and Paul to continue to do the same for my new car. I trust them completely when it comes to keeping me safe on the road.
