I found DAS after reading an article about them and Tim 2 yrs. ago and since then, DAS has serviced my car. They are friendly, efficient, honest and on time. I like that they communicate before they do any work, with a clear explanation using words that I can understand. I have not had any visit be one of those where they come up with things that have to be done, like my previous experience with dealerships.

Tim was very polite on the phone. I felt comfortable talking with him. The gentleman at the reception desk was very thorough in explaining what would be done and why. The explanations I received made complete sense to me. They called me back when they said they would. Nothing was added in to the original estimate, and the prices seemed reasonable.

Besides being welcoming and knowledgeable, Diablo Auto Specialists keep excellent records. You can just start talking, and Tim and Paul are right there with you. It's a good feeling to be able to trust your mechanic. There's no question, they're the best.

They walked me through all the repairs being made to make sure I understood what was going on. And afterwards, they showed me the old parts so I could see the damage that had been done. I felt comfortable working with them even though I have no knowledge of cars. They were forthright and honest.

I was referred to Diablo Auto by a friend a number of years ago when I bought my new Camry and have stayed with them ever since. Tim is meticulously honest and caring. It is like having a best friend be in charge of your car's health. He doesn't oversell but he takes great price in doing the best job possible. His mechanics are well trained - and well paid - so don't come to Diablo Auto for a cheap, fast job. Won't happen. What is done is done right with the right parts. I will stay with Diablo as long as they are in business and I have a car.

Tim and his guys did a great job. He called and left a message during the day with status of the work. Car runs well and the work was done on time.

Tim has taken excellent care of two previous cars for me, and now I trust both Tim and Paul to continue to do the same for my new car. I trust them completely when it comes to keeping me safe on the road.

I have been a satisfied customer of Diablo Auto Specialists for seven years. Tim, the owner, is polite, friendly, and easy to work with. He explains my options and makes suggestions, and listens to my concerns. On the few occasion that I have had a problem, Tim has quickly resolved it. I have found Tim and his staff to be competent and professional. The prices are fair, and I believe that they always do the work that they charge for unlike some car dealership service departments, with which I have had problems in the past.
